Professor Gordon Wishart
Chief Medical Officer
Professor Wishart studied at Edinburgh University Medical School and trained in general, breast & endocrine surgery in the West of Scotland deanery. He completed a Cancer Research Campaign Research Fellowship at the CRC Beatson Laboratories in Glasgow in 1989 leading to award of a MD entitled “Aspects of multidrug resistance in breast cancer” in 1992. Following his initial appointment as a consultant breast & endocrine surgeon in Sussex in 1995, he moved to Cambridge in 1998 to develop the breast unit at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, now known as the Cambridge Breast Unit. As clinical director of the Cambridge Breast Unit (CBU) from 2005-2010 he played a significant role in developing the CBU as a breast centre with a national and international reputation for research and clinical excellence. He was appointed as visiting Professor of Cancer Surgery at Anglia Ruskin University in 2008 and has an international reputation in the field of clinical breast cancer research. He recently led a team that developed and validated the new PREDICT
breast cancer survival and treatment benefit model.
Mr Per Hall
Mr Per Hall has been a consultant plastic surgeon in Cambridge since 1995. He has been a pioneer in the early detection of skin cancer using computer imaging for over 20 years. Mr Hall is also committed to helping children in developing countries and regularly trains surgeons in cleft lip and palate surgery to facilitate this. Mr Hall oversees the SkinCheck
Mary is a Dermatology Nurse Specialist and has worked in Dermatology since qualifying in 1995. Mary is also the Chairperson of the Scientific Committee for the British Dermatology Nursing Group, and is keen in developing the advancement of dermatology nursing and care of patients. Her passion for dermatology and preventing/detecting skin cancer attracted her to the role as Clinical Lead for Skin. SkinHealth UK were delighted to welcome Mary on board in 2011.
Jackie Wishart is the Sales Manager for Check4Cancer where she leads both the sales and marketing teams. Jackie brings over 13 years’ experience in the healthcare industry with an exemplary track record for increasing sales revenue for both large and small companies. Before Check4Cancer, Jackie worked for 12 years in the pharmaceutical industry as an Account Manager for Pharmacia and Pfizer attaining recognition for being in the top 10% of their sales personnel (Premier Performers Group). In her latter years in the industry she was involved in specific projects and drug launches, working with some of the country’s leading key opinion leaders in the field of cancer. Jackie has extensive experience in strategic partnerships, distribution agreements, contract services sales, and product marketing.
Senior Client Services Manager
As a Senior Client Manager, Charlotte oversees the friendly administration team who take enquiries, book appointments
and relay results. Based in Cambridge, Charlotte provides liaison between administrators and clinicians throughout the company and clinic locations nationwide.
Business Development Manager
As Business Development Manager at Check4Cancer, Victoria’s primary focus is to build Check4Cancer’s unique services among prospective corporate clients, and develop and maintain relationships with current and past clients with the view to increase revenue.
With over 5 years of private healthcare experience she participates in corporate promotional activities, key client development and contract negotiations.
Victoria has an in depth understanding of all services and their implementation as company paid, flex pay or salary sacrifice campaigns. Providing the best possible service to corporate clients and their staff is the highest priority for Victoria and everybody else at Check4Cancer.
Client Services Manager
As Client Service Manager, Ausra is the primary point of contact for a client. She is responsible for booking appointments
, updating customer records, directing and controlling the processing and fulfilment of orders, fielding customer enquiries, and resolving customer complaints.

As Client Service Manager, Cy is the primary point of contact for a client. He is responsible for booking appointments, updating customer records, directing and controlling the processing and fulfilment of orders, fielding customer enquiries, and resolving customer complaints. Cy is also a contact for our corporate accounts, when any employer wishes to use our services for their employee benefit selection then Cy will ensure that this is managed professionally and is communicated efficiently. Cy is also in charge of the logistics with onsite corporate days in regards to promotional materials, clinic equipment and all round requests.
Client Services and Quality Manager
Lene is the Quality and Information Security Manager for Check4Cancer, responsible for maintaining, establishing, documenting and distributing protocols and procedures, as well as corrective actions and safeguarding information security within the company. Lene works closely with the CQC Registered Manager at Check4Cancer, ensuring all administrative duties are carried out in this area. She also assists the Client Service Management Team, resolving and monitoring feedback and complaints, along with fielding customer enquiries.
Kathryn Gair MAAT is the Finance Manager at Check4Cancer. Kathryn brings a wealth of over 30 years’ experience in the Accountancy and Commercial industries, she is part ACCA qualified with a final exam to sit in March 2017. Kathryn oversees all areas of finance and administration including: payroll, accounts payable and receivables, cash management, general ledger, inventory, banking and reconciliations, and sales tracking. She provides strategic analysis for senior management to determine project and company profitability, prepares monthly financial statements and special reports required by board members. Kathryn ensures compliance with small business regulations such as, tax laws, insurance requirements and industry standards. She also supports the office as key point of contact for HR management.
